It's been a busy week for us at Safegard Security!
We have had the privilege to work on the Devon BBC DIY SOS project in Torquay for a great cause. The work being done by every person in that house will hopefully change the life of a deserving family for the better. The reveal was a huge success and it made us all appreciate how small gestures can make a huge difference. Many thanks to Handle King Hardware and CDVI UK, it was a pleasure to work with you and your products.
Our role was the installation of an automated door entry system, which had the capability to be linked up to voice recognition software so that Stuart (who sadly suffers from MS which means he has limited mobility) was able to open and close the doors in his home controlled only by his voice or remote.
All this work couldn't have been done without the help of hundreds of tradesmen and women who all volunteered to make this project a success. It was great to see the DIY SOS in action and really appreciate the grind that goes into these projects!
